Chargers Column: Week Seven
San Diego has ended the pattern. For those who have followed the Chargers throughout these past seven weeks, you may have noticed the win/loss pattern from week to week for the Bolts.
But with the back to back wins during weeks six and seven, San Diego has finally broken the cycle. The Chargers defeated the now 0-7 Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Oct. 20. Once again, San Diego’s defense seems to have made the biggest impact on the game, not allowing any touchdowns and forcing the only turnover of the day.
Week eight is a bye week for San Diego so their next game will be against the Washington Redskins on Nov. 3. The Redskins are currently 2-4, and third in the NFC East. So as far as what to expect when they face up against San Diego, it is likely that Washington will be giving it their best effort in order to put themselves ahead in their division.
