The third annual Artfest is taking place this Tuesday, Jan. 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mosaic Art Gallery, on the eastern side of the Mosaic Cafe, with free admission for all. This year, the theme is live portraits and students from all art classes of first semester will be showcasing their original works, including sculptures, drawings, paintings, and photographs.

In addition to the visual displays, there will be three singer/songwriting acts and a performance put on by the thespians of SDA’s theatre production class. An interactive art activity will be available for patrons as an alternative to perusing the gallery. There will food for sale on a donation basis and drinks for purchase courtesy of the Visual Arts Committee.
