Clash of Bands: B.O.B is Back

Austin Dilley

Max Phelger and Chase Heath in The Pet Rocks

Battle of the Bands is here! Today The Pet Rocks played, followed by the Elements. The Pet Rocks played a cover of “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix and an original song called “Darkness.” The Elements covered “Love Don’t Die” by The Fray, “Drops of Jupiter” by Train, and “Fever” by the Black Keys.

The lineup for the first week of this year’s Battle of the Bands is: Kennady Tracy and Be All End All on Tuesday Nov. 3, See You Upstairs on Wednesday Nov. 4, Limpet and Doodle Bob on Thursday Nov. 5, and Rubenstien Drive-By and Lizzie Waters on Friday Nov. 6. The following week is: D/Mouz Duo and GC John and the Eggnogs on Monday Nov. 9 and Indigo Coyote and Cordelia Degher on Tuesday Nov. 10.

Battle of the Bands is an exciting time of the year because all the students get to hear the talents of the peers right on the outdoor PAC stage. It is a great community building event and SDA truly shines as the artistic campus it is.

Maybe this year Drake Bell will grace us with his presence again as judge like he did two years ago.
