Homerooms showed off their nerdy sides today during the Homeroom Olympics event “Fandom Wars.” Three representatives from each participating homeroom sat in a giant half circle in the gym and answered questions from various fandoms including “The Hunger Games,” “Harry Potter,” and “Doctor Who.” The answers were written down on small white boards, and each homeroom had a judge to score their answers.

The questions, read out by a student dressed up as a weeping angel from Doctor Who tested the knowledge of the so-called “Fandomers” to really see what they knew from their beloved TV shows and movies. Even a few students dressed up as their favorite characters, earning them extra points for sprit.

Taking first place was Mr. Wuertz’ homeroom, second place was taken by Ms. Leonard’s homeroom, and third was a tie between Mr. Duchene, Mr. Huntley, Ms. Siers, and Mrs. Tsuboi’s homerooms.
