Students evacuate their classrooms, nearly making it to the new track.

As if today wasn’t hot enough. At 2:40 p.m, a fire alarm went off, making students evacuate almost to the new field.

“Something was burned in the Adult Education office,” said Assistant Principal Jeanne Jones. “Nothing serious.”

It was considered a false alarm, and students were told to go back to their classrooms six minutes later.
