On Oct. 31, the Dance Choreography class performed a series of six dances during third period in the spirit of Halloween and Day of the Dead. All dances were originally choreographed by the students. The performances included dances to various songs such as “Masks” by Scary Monsters, “Summer Overture” by Clint Mansell, and “Sail” by AWOLNATION. The dances combined some ballet and modern dance, representing the diversity of the backgrounds of the students. The performance was fun and creepy in that Halloween way. It will be exciting to see what the Dance Choreography class is planning next.
