Bookshelves, a couch, and various other pieces of furniture were found in Senior Court as students arrived to school on Tuesday Jan. 10. No one tried to take the TV set in the front, but many eyed the students sitting in front of it. Art teacher and Art Wars advisor Jeremy Wright joined the group, who, when asked why they were sitting in an outdoors living room, replied, “For fun!”
Upon further inspection, the setup was revealed to be another Art Wars project. The club, known for doing live art and putting up installations around campus, had set up the furniture for display on Monday, but it got put away due to a miscommunication. Tuesday, though, was a success .
Previous projects include the large cardboard box sculpture, also in Senior Court, and the painting of the storage box by the Mustang Center. “The different projects are always really fun! I don’t know what we’ll be doing next, but I know it’ll be good,” said club member sophomore Tacy Manis.
