On Tuesday February 8 during lunch in front of SDA’s gym, students could be found attending club fair. The main purpose of the Club Fair is for students to advertise their clubs and discover new clubs to join. “My inspiration for participating in club fair is to help piano society recruit people,” said Junior Xana Young.
Many clubs had tables with beautiful hand-painted signs and props displaying the potential of their club. Students wandered around aimlessly in search of a club to call home. A roar of thunderously loud music was constantly vibrating students’ innards. When asked why students participate in club fair, junior Brendan Carnthers said, “The possibility of free food attracts most of us. People usually mill around looking for things that interest them.”
Everyone who attended Club Fair participated in the noisy hustle to scan one’s surroundings. At the Club Fair “you get free stuff, and recruit, and advertise,” said Young.
