New survey administers how students are learning from home
May 13, 2020
San Dieguito Union High School District released a Learning from Home survey on May 13 in hopes to assess the current nature of students’ connectedness and how to best support schools now and in the future.
The questions encompass topics from routines, distance learning, relationships, and social and emotional health.
According to the district, the survey results would help evaluate current programs and supports during school closure as well as plans for the 2020-21 school year.
“It’s my understanding that our admin team will be able to access the results pretty soon after the administration window closes. I can’t say definitively, but my hope is to share the predominant themes with all stakeholders, including students,” Celeste Barnette, assistant principal at SDA stated.
The survey will be open from May 13 to May 20.
