The Port Pavillion n Broadway Pier is where Formal will be held this year.

Formal is coming up and you need to start planning. Obviously, you’re most focused on the dress, suit, or dress suit you plan on wearing. Besides that, you have to match your shoes. Do you wear heels, sneakers, or go barefoot? It’s your choice, but you want it to match your fit.

You also have to plan how you get there and who you want to get there with. You have to check party bus prices, get everyone to give you their money, and book that bus.

While all your extra time is being spent planning that, you neglecting one important thing. Imagine, you are done with formal, your feet hurt, you smell horrible, you are tired, and you are starving. You are at the Port Pavilion in downtown San Diego and it’s dark, and then your stomach growls, and you don’t know any restaurants or fast food places around, and you don’t have the energy to find a place. That’s where this list comes in handy.

  1. Fish Market right by the Midway

If you just had a nice night, have some cash to spend, and you want to treat your date or have a fancy dinner with your friends, this is the place to feast. Take note, it closes at 10 p.m. so you have to leave the dance early.

2. King and Queen Cantina by the Maritime Museum

If you still have some energy left and like loud, fun places, you should eat here. The food is rated pretty high. You and your friends could all find something here, and Mexican food is always nice after dancing.

3. Filippi’s Pizza by Amici park

Pizza is delicious. Everyone loves pizza and it is 20 times better when you are hungry. Just the smell of it will relax you.

4. The Cheesecake Factory in the Headquarters at Seaport

After a fun night, you want to end it right. The Cheesecake Factory has almost every dish you can imagine, so whether it’s two or 15 people, everyone will find something great to eat. Plus, the cheesecake is scrumptious and there are so many flavors.

5. McDonald’s on 12th Avenue

Burgers, nuggets, ice cream, and McFlurries: if you and your group can’t agree on anything, this will fill your stomachs full and fast. Also, it’s open 24 hours.
