The Carlsbad Artwalk is a masterpiece

I stopped by the Carlsbad Artwalk, an art festival that takes place every September, this past weekend. The event features artwork from more than 175 individuals, all who live in the area and make a career out of doing what they love. From live music to chalk art murals created right in front of you, the event is a fantastic experience for anyone who appreciates art. 

Anyone can apply to show off their talent and merchandise at the Artwalk, and every artist brought something unique to show off.. Some vendors were selling paintings, prints and sculptures. Others had  photography and handmade jewelry. 

There were also many other attractions at the Artwalk, such as live musicians playing every hour, and even an area for kids specifically called the ‘Kidswalk’, where kids could work on crafts and do chalk art of their own. Truly something for everybody.
