A Sneak -a- Pika at Detective Pikachu

The second official trailer for the highly anticipated movie, Detective Pikachu was released today.

In the first trailer, fans were introduced to Ryme City, where humans and pokemon live together in unity. Tim Goodman, a 21-year-old has always wanted to be a pokemon trainer. His father, Harry Goodman, goes missing. Harry’s former partner, detective Pikachu shows up to aid Tim in his search.

The second trailer revealed that detective Pikachu was searching for Harry and that his only clue was the detective hat worn by Harry Goodman, which was labeled with Goodman’s address. From the address, he was able to find Tim. In the trailer, Pikachu suggests that Harry might still be alive, but faked his death after messing with a dangerous group.

The new information helped to flesh out the story for those awaiting the full release.

“POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is set for release on Friday, May 10, 2019.
