Boys Soccer Senior Night Ends With A Win
February 12, 2018
Parents and students lined up on the field, the former standing smiling with flowers, the latter clad in white jerseys joking and laughing anxiously; the last time the Mustangs played Sage Creek it was a 4-0 loss, and not a good one at that.
However, once the game began most of those fears were abated. Cutouts of the seniors were waved around by parents, and soon enough senior Patrick Rahilly scored SDA’s first goal of the night.
As the clock ran out on the first half, senior Noah Bussell managed to get another ball past Sage Creek goalie Owen Damitz, making it an even 2-0 at the end of the half.
The second half was slower, and even though the Bobcats got one goal on SDA, they were unable to secure a win against the Mustangs that night.
