I swear I didn't kill Sully for this jacket.
The Fashion in Flag Football
November 8, 2017
All of the teams played valiantly during the Homecoming flag football games after school last Friday. Blood, sweat and tears were shed. One student was taken away from the field on a golf cart with ice in hand. After hours of anticipation, the student teams beat the teachers in the final match.
So sure, it’s safe to say the students worked hard in the game. But what did they work tenfold harder on? Their outfits.
The looks ranged from shirtless construction workers to cow costumes and flames. Some of the team shirts were custom made through the help of screen-printing students, while others had designs more crudely drawn on in permanent marker. Professionally done or not, the shirts were all a result of the team spirit and the tomfoolery closely associated with the SDA flag football tournament.
Whether eliminated the first round or competing against the teachers (who lost), the coordinated clothes gave students an air of accomplishment. Win or lose, they will always have their flag football uniform.
