Day One: Rubenstein Drive By

Battle of the Bands commenced on Halloween during lunch this year. The first band to perform was Rubenstein Drive By, an alt rock band. The band, which consisted of juniors Aiko Woody on guitar, lead singer Gus Adgate, AJ Schumann on keyboard, Sam Goldsmith on drums and Niko Jones (an LCC student) on bass, performed all original songs.
Adgate said, “I felt like [our set] went pretty well. It’s a lot better to play than practice. It was a good time.”
They were the only band to perform on the first day because of conflict with the costume contest which took the second half of lunch. The second day is on Thursday because there are no performances on minimum days or hour lunches.
