As a fan of rock music, nothing pleases me more to say that it is coming back. It’s starting with Rise Against’s 6th studio album, “Endgame.”
Their first actual album since 2008 drops on March 15. While it hasn’t been released yet, fans have been pleased with two singles, “Help is on the Way” and “Architects.” Both songs have in-your-face guitar riffs, strong beats, and most importantly, powerful lyrics. The songs convey a need for action and the thing that makes them so influential is that they actually make you get up and go do something, anything. This message embodies the new album.
So while I wait for the CD to come out, I encourage anyone who needs a break from the pointless and computer-enhanced songs on FM 93.3 to give Rise Against’s new songs a try.
