With this installment in the series, paths cross, as an epic confrontation highlights the episode.  Gareth, the mere survivor turned cannibal, and his crew, have escaped from the aftermath of the events that took place at their once safe haven, Terminus.  They now are seeking revenge on the ones who destroyed their home; Rick and his group.  While Rick’s crew is taking refuge at a church shown to them by the newly introduced Father Gabriel, strange things start to happen.  People start to go missing and threats arise as Gareth’s group closes in on the church.  In an epic confrontation, Rick and Gareth’s groups go head to head to finalize their bitter hatred for one another.  This episode’s sense of closure was that of a finale and it’s only the third episode of the season.  There is sure to be great things ahead for The Walking Dead in the coming episodes, and so far it is panning out to possibly be the best season yet.  Let’s hope the heat of the trail does not run cold.
