Not many companies have been able to master the ultimate fighting game experience. Customers want to be immersed into the game, to feel the adrenaline that the fighter feels while pummeling down their opponent.

ARMS, exclusively being published for the Nintendo Switch, is making its debut  on Friday, June 16, to start the summer season for all the students getting off of the school year. Implementing completely new kinds of ways to fight, this game could be an interesting game that might be worth the pickup.

The main mechanic that makes ARMS interesting is the  part that you fight with, your arms. Featuring up to 10 different characters that come with unique attributes, and 30 different arms, there are plenty of ways to fight. For example,  Ribbon girl n has the ability to jump up to four times in the air, and quickly dash to ground.

In addition, the Arms include detachable different types of boxing glove/ fighting arms. So far, we have seen them range from normal gloves, to giant maces of oncoming doom.  All the arms that you can use in the game have different elements that correspond with certain arms. These elements include Fire, Electric, Wind, Ice, Explosion, Stun, Blind and none. All these elements have their own style of play.

All of the characters have been released along with the number  of arms you can use.

If you have a Nintendo Switch, I would advise picking it up. However, if you think this will convince you to buy a Switch, Legend of Zelda or Mario Kart should be enough to convince you. If you’re on the edge, look into ARMS a little more, and consider picking it up when it comes out.
