Young the Giant Performs in San Diego

The alternate rock band Young the Giant performed to sold out crowds at the San Diego House of Blues Tuesday, Oct.18 and Wednesday, Oct. 19. The band, on a tour for the release of their latest album “Home of the Strange,” performed songs from the new album such as “Amerika” and “Something To Believe In,” as well as older chart-topping hits like “Cough Syrup,” and “My Body.” Admission into the building began at 7 p.m. and Young the Giant’s opening band Ra Ra Riot, touring to promote their new album, “Need Your Light,” began playing at 8 p.m. Young the Giant’s set started at 9 p.m. and lasted an hour and a half, with a brief pause before a short encore.
