The Golden Globes this past Sunday were, unfortunately, peppered a little too strongly with long-winded thank you speeches and the same replayed trailers of the nominated films. Too much pepper is never a good thing. Besides fast-forwarding through the “Descendants” trailer about five times, though, the award show managed to have some funny moments. The best of these was Tina Fey’s ‘photo’bomb of Amy Poehler. As the camera focused on Poehler  after she was nominated for Best Actress in a television series, Fey snuck into the side of the screen behind the oblivious Poehler. According to Hollywood Reporter, this shot alone was one of TiVo’s most watched moments. So, I guess the pain Americans endured from using our poor thumbs so much on the fast forward button was made up by this moment in television history. Plus, it was an excuse to sit around and eat popcorn.
